KATO has optimized the structure and volume of the ULT dynamic driver and acoustic cavity through FEA finite element simulation combined with repeated experimental verification to achieve unparalleled linear distortion performance. It excels in both amplitude-frequency response and phase-frequency response, resulting in improved timbre and soundstage reproduction. Brand-new Spring Tips silicone ear tips have been developed to optimize the timbre of KATO even further, enhancing wearing comfort, preventing sound leakage, and improving high-frequency linearity for a more natural timbre.
KATO features a newly developed 10mm ULT (Ultra-Linear-Technology) super-linear dynamic driver, which includes a more efficient composite magnetic circuit, a larger brass internal acoustic cavity, and a lighter CCAW sound coil for excellent dynamic range and detailed performance. The superlinear unit also comes with a high-performance DLC composite diaphragm, utilizing three materials to ensure top-notch acoustic performance surpassing even beryllium.
Equipped with a replaceable sound nozzle design made of two different materials (steel and brass), KATO allows users to easily experience different sound changes by replacing the nozzle. The earphones come with self-designed Spring Tips to suppress resonance and lower high-frequency linear distortion, providing a more natural high-frequency timbre. The earplug tips cap is designed to fit comfortably without being sticky, with a special reinforcing rib support design to prevent bass loss due to sound leakage.
