The power supply of the 761 features two individually crafted low-noise 700 VA transformers with 152000 uF capacitance and highest quality semiconductors, ensuring stable operation. This dual mono amplifier delivers 200 watts per channel into an 8 Ohm load in stereo, doubles the power into a 4 Ohm load, and includes a switch for bridged amplifier connection, providing 600 watts into an 8 Ohm load as a monoblock. The MDCA (MOON Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier) is based on a design philosophy that eliminates global feedback, with a new circuitry that reduces distortion and noise to previously unattainable levels.
