Moon by Simaudio 340i X is a fantastic example of an integrated amplifier from the new Neo line by the Canadian company. It features powerful, yet realistic and highly detailed sound, while also offering high versatility.
For device connection, the amplifier is equipped with 4 pairs of line inputs with RCA connectors and a pair of balanced XLR inputs. On the front panel, there are two additional connectors: a 6.3mm headphone output and a 3.5mm line input for quick connection of small media players, smartphones, and other portable devices.
The 340i X includes synchronization capabilities with other audio system components, with an RS-232 port for connection. Additionally, there is a SimLink trigger port with input and output connections.
For connecting speakers and audio output to additional devices, there are 2 pairs of terminal connections and two pairs of RCA connectors.
Optional features:
One highly requested option is the ability to install a digital-to-analog converter module, allowing direct connection of the amplifier to digital sources such as computers, DVD or Blu-ray players, iPod docks, and more. The option to install a DAC board is available as an additional purchase.
Furthermore, for vinyl enthusiasts, there is the option to install an MC/MM phono stage. This allows you to connect turntables directly to the amplifier without using additional devices.
