The Gold 6G series speakers feature the latest proprietary HDT (Hexagonal Diaphragm Technology) in the midrange and bass drivers. The unique hexagonal pattern on the C-CAM diaphragm raises the speaker's resonance frequency by 10% compared to the RST II. Other features of the new drivers include copper rings in the voice coils, cast metal baskets, new surrounds, and centering washers. The MPD III tweeter, based on Heil's emitters, is borrowed from the brand's flagship innovative model - Hyphn.
