Description

The McIntosh MTI100 is a groundbreaking all-in-one audio device built around an electrophon. It combines a vinyl record player, a tube preamplifier-phono preamp, a solid-state power amplifier, and wireless interfaces. This device is designed for those who are limited in space and find it difficult to accommodate a full-size audio system.

Features:

  • Record player, tube preamplifier, power amplifier, phono preamp, analog input, digital inputs, Bluetooth
  • Cartridge type: Moving magnet cartridge
  • Playback speed: 33/45 RPM
  • Motor type: Synchronous AC motor
  • Speed control: Manual speed switching, 2-speed pulley
  • Remote control included

At first glance, the McIntosh MTI100 may look like a regular turntable, but it's much more than that. It's a unique product for those looking for maximum flexibility in their home audio system without the space for a large setup.

The Class D amplifier delivers 80 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms or 50 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms, connecting to a pair of speakers (sold separately) via connectors on the rear panel. Two 12AX7 tubes are used in the hybrid preamplifier. The built-in phono preamp is housed separately, shielding signal paths from interference. The combination of the tube preamplifier and shielded phono preamp guarantees the best vinyl sound.

In addition to enjoying vinyl records, you can also enjoy modern digital sound via Bluetooth 4.2, ensuring high-quality audio from your Bluetooth sources. The external Bluetooth antenna ensures optimal signal reception. Analog and digital audio inputs allow connection of external sources such as TV, CD player, or radio tuner. For those craving more bass, a subwoofer can be connected using the available output. And for personal listening, a headphone jack is included on the front panel, featuring a high-quality headphone amp.

The 7-pound aluminum platter and aluminum tonearm sit on a 3/8-inch glass base, the same glass used in amplifier front panels, placed on a 1/4-inch metal plate to resist and absorb external vibrations.
