Description

The Magnat Signature 903 is the "junior" model in the 900 series.

Features:

  • Tweeter module with dual speaker with Hi-Res certification and two fmax diffusers;
  • 3-way loudspeaker with Bass Reflex phase inverter design;
  • Low and mid-frequency driver with ceramic-aluminum membrane, aluminum alloy baskets;
  • Supports for safe installation and acoustic isolation.

This is a shelf-mounted three-way speaker with one woofer and phase inverter. The woofers and midrange drivers with vented cast frames are a Klippel-optimized design. Their ceramic-aluminum sandwich diffusers feature inverted dust caps. The drivers are connected by a phase- and amplitude-optimized APOC crossover with quality internal wiring and output to a massive terminal panel with sealed connectors.

The low and mid-frequency drivers in the Magnat Signature 900 series are made of aluminum alloy with ceramic-aluminum membranes. The clever combination of materials guarantees maximum damping of unwanted vibrations on one hand and optimal weight on the other. This means that the powerful Neodymium technology drivers can reproduce extremely dynamic music without distortion. The solid aluminum alloy speaker baskets ensure necessary stability behind the scenes.

The cast aluminum module responsible for incredible high-frequency sound has two fmax tweeters certified by the Japanese Audio Society with a Hi-Res stamp. The 30mm diffuser with an exceptionally wide surround allows it to work with low crossover frequencies, seamlessly connecting to the midrange. An additional 20mm super high-frequency diffuser forms the foundation for extended high-frequency reproduction. Even if many sources do not provide frequencies this high, higher harmonics are present here for an important listening experience. Additionally, the diffuser has excellent omni-directional sound dispersion and precisely calculated sound guides on the front panel for optimal sound spaciousness.

The system allows for both bi-wire and bi-amp connections using cable jumpers. The drivers are protected by a removable fabric grille with hidden magnetic fixation. With a nominal (maximum) power of 120 (180) watts, the Magnat Signature 903 acoustic system demonstrates a sensitivity of 91 dB and a low end down to 30 Hz according to the manufacturer's data.
