Hybrid Integrated Amplifier with DAC Magnat MA 900
The Magnat MA 900 hybrid integrated amplifier with a DAC is based on the company's own tried and tested solutions. The manufacturer once again used a circuit where both radio tubes and transistors are involved. This approach ensures balanced sound and high performance.
The MA 900 model stands out for its high power: the device can deliver 200 watts per channel in normal operating mode and 320 watts in impulse mode. The company noted that the ECC 81 tubes used in the preamplifier stage undergo careful selection and warming up. The amplifier operates in class A/B. Other features of the amplifier section of the device include quality capacitors, shielded toroidal transformer, power circuits with independent channels, and a standby mode with low energy consumption.
As for the built-in DAC, it features a Cyrrus Logic scheme that supports quality up to 24 bit/192 kHz. A digital signal can be input through coaxial or optical connectors. There is also the option of wireless connection via Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD support.
In addition, the MA 900 comes with a built-in phono corrector based on Texas Instruments operational amplifiers. It is possible to connect MM and MC cartridges. The front panel also includes a headphone jack and a 3.5 mm line input.
