This speaker is designed for wall mounting. It can be used for both vertical and horizontal installation. The IWT 262 is perfect for use as a center speaker in home theaters when installed horizontally. Installation is usually done at ear level in the preferred listening position.
The Magnat SIGNATURE IWT series speakers are equipped with a clever clamping mechanism that allows for easy attachment in the wall's acoustic hole. The simplest way is to mount them on the ceiling or on walls made of drywall or similar surfaces. If there is a hole in a stone wall, an additional plate (such as rigips or wood) should be used. The clamping mechanism is suitable for wall thicknesses of 10-30 mm.
The largest model for wall mounting is the Signature IWT 262, which features two 16 cm low-frequency drivers and a high-frequency driver. The built-in speaker, designed for heavy-duty use, is ideal for complex stereo environments or as a front speaker (left/center/right) in a home theater. Thanks to its balanced dispersing properties, it can be used in both vertical and horizontal configurations. The latter makes it perfect for mounting under projector screens or flat-screen TVs. With a shallow mounting depth of only 100 mm, installation is straightforward even in rooms with limited space. The high-frequency level can be adjusted in three stages, allowing the sound to be adapted to the room's acoustics.
