The MACKIE SRM450v3, belonging to the SRM series, delivers sound quality that is simply unexpected from such compact devices. This "big brother" of the SRM350 model features the same studio-quality sound and renowned Mackie Active technology in an enlarged enclosure - an excellent solution for spaces where space is at a premium.
Thanks to countless hours spent creating this acoustic system, the MACKIE SRM450v3 boasts impressive reproduction capabilities and can provide users with authentic and accurate bass down to 61Hz, mid-range frequencies that eliminate ear fatigue, and detailed high frequencies up to 23kHz. With innovative low-frequency dynamic amplification, you can achieve full sound at any volume level.
Wide dispersion
Are you worried that your guests in the far corner of the room won't hear their favorite music? You no longer have to worry! The MACKIE SRM450v3 is equipped with an acoustically non-resonant exponential waveguide, which allows for much wider dispersion of mid and high frequencies. A pair of MACKIE SRM450v3 speakers will be enough to fill a medium-sized room and the adjacent room with high-quality studio sound. No more disgruntled guests or clients complaining about insufficient volume and poor seating!
Design features
In most speakers, the compression driver, which reproduces mid and high frequencies, is located deep inside the enclosure, while the low-frequency driver is much closer to the front. In such a design, high frequencies reach the listeners' ears later than the bass, resulting in a loss of clarity. Our engineers have managed to bend the "spatio-temporal continuum" with our crossover delay time and high-frequency waveguide to achieve precise driver alignment. The end result is high frequency content that no longer disappears into a "black hole."
Special enclosure shape
Anyone can design an enclosure and place some drivers in it. However, low-frequency drivers (LF) in square enclosures often create resonances that reflect off the walls and are transmitted back through the phase with the main signal, making the overall sound muddy. The MACKIE SRM450v3 does not have any parallel surfaces in its asymmetrical, monolithic enclosure, simply eliminating the aforementioned problems. We have also added adiabatic material - damping foam - to absorb any unwanted internal reflections. In short, our innovative enclosure shape makes the sound significantly better!
DUAL FR amplifiers
Don't be afraid to admit that your sound system often operates at full power. That's why we equipped the MACKIE SRM450v3 with powerful DUAL FR amplifiers with quick recovery, each designed for its high-frequency and low-frequency driver. You can trust these amplifiers, pushing this speaker system to the maximum without worrying about exceeding their functionality. With the MACKIE SRM450v3, you no longer have to worry about amplification - just plug in and start playing!
Studio monitoring
The MACKIE SRM450v3 features an active electrical circuit design that extracts maximum power compared to similar devices in smaller enclosures. Based on our renowned HR824 studio monitoring technology, the servo feedback damping electronics in the MACKIE SRM450v3 "locks" the woofer in place from the output of the LF amplifier, eliminating the need for an external amplifier and passive subwoofer. This constant correction produces tight, articulate bass without the common distortions found in most small enclosures.
Superb floor monitor
People keep telling us that the MACKIE SRM450v3 is an example of an amazing floor monitor. The shape of the enclosure allows for tilting the speaker, which is truly remarkable. The MACKIE SRM450v3 has incredible dispersion in a wide range of high frequencies. This allows you to increase the volume without stimulating unpleasant feedback, often caused by passive speakers or specialized angled bottoms. Devices of this class simply can't compete with the MACKIE SRM450v3.
