Combining cutting-edge mixing technologies and the active acoustic system SRM, Mackie presents the powerful and superb-sounding active PA system SRM150, which stands out with its incredible compactness, versatility, and expandability. Mackie SRM150 is perfect for a wide range of tasks, from audio presentations in board meetings to rehearsals, live music events in cafes and bars, and more.
And don't let the size of this "little one" intimidate you. Its features and sound quality will dispel all your doubts. The built-in three-channel mixer has two combo XLR/line inputs (with 48V phantom power), a stereo channel for CD/MP3 players, and a powerful three-band Mackie active EQ. Additionally, the SRM150 can even be mounted on a microphone stand, turning it into the perfect personal monitor. In short, with such a wonderful set of features and a high-class 150-watt sound, the Mackie SRM150 is the perfect solution for practically any situation that requires superior sound quality.
Built-in Mackie Mixer
The heart of the SRM150 is the Mackie mixer, designed with functions and versatility that meet your expectations from a company that produces the world's most popular compact mixers. Channels 1 and 2 can be used to connect microphone/line sources thanks to the convenient Neutrik combo connector. You have true 48V phantom power at your disposal, so you can confidently work with the most demanding condenser microphones. Channel 1 also has an additional function. Simply connect a guitar, bass (or any other instrument connected via a high-impedance input), press the CH1 Instrument switch, and you'll get all the advantages of a DI box without spending extra money or losing your patience.
Non-switchable stereo inputs
Channel 3 is designed for stereo devices such as MP3 players, CD players, or tape recorders. Connect your device to the dual RCA jacks and use the level control on channel 3 to adjust the gain balance with other inputs. This is a truly convenient feature for performers using backing tracks, MIDI sequencers, or drum machines.
Mackie three-band EQ
Mackie specialists have made efforts to optimize the frequency bands of the Mackie three-band active equalizers, choosing values of 100 Hz, 2.5 kHz, and 12 kHz for lows, mids, and highs respectively. As a result, an exceptionally "musical" equalization scheme was created. The SRM150's equalization bands work completely independently of each other, allowing you to cut or boost frequencies in a specific band without affecting other frequency bands. The built-in active equalizer with 15 dB boost/cut in each band provides a wider range of sound shaping and feedback control, giving a hundred points advantage over any other product in this class.
High power, first-class sound
Any fancy features are completely useless if you can't deliver world-class sound! That's why a powerful 150-watt D-class amplifier with a full-range, all-weather neodymium driver, developed by the acoustic gurus at EAW, was selected for the SRM150. The SRM150 has an unmatched sound pressure level of 120 dB at 1 meter – much more than what competitors offer. The SRM150 sounds amazing whether you're accompanying a vocalist on your acoustic guitar in a café or giving an audio presentation in a boardroom.
The best personal monitor
The SRM150 is not only an excellent PA system for compact PA tasks, but it is also unbeatable as a personal monitor. The built-in three-band EQ facilitates feedback suppression and provides the same wonderful sound shaping capabilities as the legendary Mackie compact mixers. You'll need a microphone stand with a boom arm holder, and you'll have full control over the sound! But the SRM150 can be installed not only on a stand – it is designed in such a way that it provides proper monitoring angle when used as a traditional floor or tabletop monitor.
Rear panel connections
Want to use one or more SRM150 or SRM450 systems? Thru jacks on the rear panel allow you to connect an additional monitor with a built-in amplifier or send a microphone-level output signal to a FOH system (using the mic/line switch). The Main input also has dual functionality. It can be used to receive signals from a mixer to the monitor or to connect other SRM systems.
