Mackie MR824 is an 8-inch, two-way studio monitor designed for mixing and monitoring in home or professional studios. It features a logarithmic waveguide system that minimizes reflections and diffractions to expand the frequency spectrum. The MR824 is equipped with dedicated amplifiers and drivers for a dual Class A/B power of 85 watts. Additionally, it can be optimized for any space with adjustable acoustic spatial filters.
Furthermore, the monitor's filter allows for boosting or attenuating high frequencies to compensate for rooms that sound too bright or dull. It has XLR, TRS, and RCA input connectors. The speakers are housed in a solid wooden cabinet treated with sound-absorbing material. To expand the low-frequency range, the monitors can be paired with the MRS10 studio subwoofer.
The MR824 features an 8-inch polypropylene woofer with exceptional dynamics and a 1-inch tweeter that provides clear and detailed high frequencies. This model excels in reproducing vocals.
