The speakers have an attractive front panel with drivers complemented by trim for an elegant appearance. They feature a 6.5-inch woofer and horn-loaded tweeter. The woofer has a patented Cerametallic diaphragm with a multi-layer structure made of ceramic and a magnesium-aluminum alloy for quick and large amplitude movement. The driver has a powerful magnet and is mounted on an anti-resonant basket.
The Klipsch RP-600M II speaker is equipped with a new improved Tractrix horn with a 90 x 90-degree dispersion angle made of rigid silicone. The internal shape of the new horn is smoother, which improves the overall look of the speakers when the protective grille is removed. The grille has magnetic fasteners, making the speakers less noticeable in the room. However, removing the grille will reveal the copper-spun woofer, making the speakers a striking element in the living room.
The speakers feature an updated 1-inch titanium dome tweeter with Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) mounted on a rear-firing port to prevent standing waves. The Klipsch RP-600M II speakers come with a patented rear-firing Tractrix port for better efficiency and no audible noise. They also include gold-plated binding posts for connecting the speakers to an amplifier.
