Kinera Imperial Norn is a hybrid earphone produced by Kinera, featuring five drivers. It consists of four balanced armature drivers and one dynamic driver on each side.
Kinera's latest products are inspired by the Norse mythology gods. The Norns, three women with magical abilities to determine the fate of humans and gods, have influenced the design.

The 7mm dynamic driver in the Kinera Imperial Norn provides deep and rich bass, creating a wide and immersive soundstage. It incorporates high-quality components, including a powerful N52 ring magnet with a magnetic flux of 1.5 Tesla. The coil is composed of pure copper Daikoku from Japan, while the diaphragm is made from titanium-coated composite fiber. The composite diaphragm with titanium coating moves swiftly within the dynamic driver chamber, resulting in thunderous and high-quality bass response.
The four balanced armature drivers deliver mid and high frequencies, reproducing realistic timbre in vocals and exceptional detail. Kinera has collaborated with Knowles, a renowned manufacturer, and incorporated their high-performance drivers alongside the dynamic driver. The response is characterized by speed, high resolution, and natural tonality. This combination of four premium Knowles BA drivers ensures exceptional extension, precise instrument positioning, and maximum accuracy and detail.
Acoustic Features
The front cavity of the Norn housing contains a specially designed crossover to eliminate any potential distortion when multiple drivers are in use.
The sound tubes maintain a reasonable length to avoid any interference with the sound, ensuring precise frequency response across a broad range of frequencies. The hand-painted artwork seamlessly transitions from the faceplate to the rest of the housing, reflecting light attractively.

Detachable Cable
The Kinera Imperial Norn utilizes a universal cable with a 2-pin connector (0.78mm). The included cable is crafted from high-quality silver-plated copper 26AWG wire. It consists of 8 conductors with a total of 192 strands. The cable's outer sheath is soft, comfortable, and environmentally friendly.
Equipped with a 2.5mm balanced plug, the cable is designed to be used with high-end sources like Astell&Kern players. However, it also comes with adapters for 3.5mm and balanced 4.4mm connections, accommodating listeners who do not possess players or amplifiers with the specific connector.
