Unique configuration of seven drivers
A total of seven drivers (1 dynamic driver, 2 balanced armature drivers, and 4 electrostatic drivers) are parallelly arranged in the housing. The dynamic driver provides good and flexible bass, delivering a concert-like auditory experience, even during long listening sessions.
Dual Knowles balanced armature drivers, RAF-32873
Two balanced armature drivers, Knowles RAF-32873, are used for mid-range frequencies to ensure great sound reproduction at all levels. They are well matched with the dynamic driver and the high-frequency electrostatic driver using precise acoustic technology and crossovers. After careful tuning, the drivers not only control dynamics but also retain the high-frequency advantages of the electrostatic driver, providing a seamless connection across the entire frequency range.
High-frequency Sonion electrostatic drivers
The 1X4 Sonion EST65QB02 driver is responsible for the high frequencies. This driver has a faster response time, better transient response, more pronounced detail, and extended high-frequency range. It is perfectly suited for interpreting Baldr's sound, which has an extremely low distortion level, presents a more realistic sound, and brings a bright and warm listening experience.
Powerful dynamic driver
The Kinera-customized 7mm Kinera dynamic driver, made with a 3-layer polyurethane composite diaphragm with titanium coating, delivers truly excellent sound. The mixed material enhances the depth of the low-frequency response, provides a wider soundstage, and enhances resolution.
Precise frequency separation
Kinera Baldr features a three-way acoustic design. The pair shows no distortion and ensures precise separation of frequencies into highs, mids, and lows. The overall frequency response curve is smooth.
6N OCC silver-plated cable
Kinera Baldr uses a 4-wire 6N OCC cable with a gold-plated connector, with the cable direction from mid to high frequencies. Thanks to the original combination of OCC and gold materials, the sound becomes warm.
The multi-strand cable consists of four conductors, totaling 196 strands with a diameter of 0.06mm per strand.
