Hodur's hybrid construction includes a high-sensitivity, low-power electrostatic driver, a balanced armature driver K10012 BA, and a 10mm coaxial dynamic driver with a dual magnetic composite Tesla diaphragm. All drivers are of their own design.
Thanks to Hodur's special acoustic design, the performance of all drivers has been optimized. All frequency ranges are rich in accurate tonal layers and detailed sound.
Kinera's proprietary high-sensitivity dynamic driver with low power consumption and a 10mm Tesla diaphragm consisting of two magnets allows for high-quality sound reproduction.
The Hodur housing is made of aviation-grade aluminum alloy, which is lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Thanks to the 5-axis nozzle threading technology on a CNC machine, the 2-pin connector and the vent for air release have been executed with particular precision.
The material of the headphones meets high standards and effectively reduces housing vibration. Additionally, the housing is anodized for durability and wear resistance. The compact and lightweight design of the housing makes it very comfortable and ideal for everyday use.
Kinera engineers hand-assembled and polished each individual Hodur unit.
Silver-plated OCC cable and modular design with interchangeable connectors.
The silver-plated copper cable has high sound transmission efficiency and stable impedance. The complex structure of the silver coating and the wire twisting ensure that the details of the sound signals in each frequency band are fully preserved. The outer jacket of the cable is made of high-permeability and soft PVC, which not only better protects the cable but also reduces the stethoscope effect. The cable consists of 25 copper wires with a diameter of 0.05 mm and 25 silver-plated copper wires with a diameter of 0.08 mm.
The modular design allows for easy replacement of connectors for connection to various sources, such as a player with a 4.4mm balanced output.
