JBL Charge 5
The fifth generation of the popular wireless speaker has become even better. It now features the new Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity, whereas the previous generation Charge speakers used Bluetooth 4.2.
The speaker is completely dust and waterproof, with an IP67 rating. The manufacturer claims the speaker has "impressive clarity of sound and deep bass".
JBL Charge 5 comes with the JBL PartyBoost feature, allowing users to connect multiple JBL speakers together.
The battery life remains at 20 hours of playback time - a result that no competitor has yet achieved.
The design of the Charge 5 has not undergone significant changes and remains recognizable. A couple of silicone bumpers have been added to the side passive radiators to protect the speaker from falls.
