Senjutsu is the seventeenth studio album by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on September 3, 2021. The album was recorded in early 2019, during a break from the Legacy of the Beast World Tour, followed by extensive preparation. Like the band's previous album, Senjutsu was recorded at Guillaume Tell Studio in Paris under producer Kevin Shirley, who marks his sixth collaboration with Iron Maiden. The album received generally positive reviews from critics, who noted that the release was more balanced and engaging than their previous album, The Book of Souls.
