Description

The iFi xCAN portable headphone amplifier enhances the quality of your music, whether you're using in-ear or over-ear headphones, and whether you're listening at home or on the go.

If you already have a high-quality player with a decent DAC but require more amplification, or if you're satisfied with your audio source but need more power, simply add the xCAN to your setup and effortlessly drive any "hard-to-drive" headphones.

The device features both balanced (2.5mm) and standard (3.5mm) analog inputs and outputs, a digital SPDIF input, and the ability to function as a Bluetooth receiver supporting aptX, aptX LL, and AAC codecs. The amplifier can remember up to 8 paired devices. The xCAN utilizes the ESS Technology Sabre chip as its DAC.

The amplification section of the xCAN is designed with a "dual-mono" circuitry, delivering up to 1000mW power per channel, making it suitable even for 600 Ohm headphones. Additionally, the xCAN offers optional 3D+ Holographic sound and Xbass II analog bass correction, providing a more natural sound reproduction.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
