The GO bar section utilizes a powerful 16-core XMOS microcontroller to process audio data coming into the USB input. Custom XMOS firmware is optimized to ensure high-quality sound and compatibility with the 32-bit Cirrus Logic chipset.
The GO bar casing features physical buttons for precise volume control, as well as control elements for choosing between different sound settings. Colored LEDs provide convenient guidance on the format and sampling frequency of the currently played digital audio, as well as whether XBass+ and/or XSpace are enabled.
Despite its small size, the GO bar analog circuitry has a balanced design with a symmetrical dual-channel output stage. This reduces noise and crosstalk in the signal path by completely separating the left and right channels. High-quality discrete components are used in the circuit, and special attention has been paid to power source filtering, significantly reducing signal noise introduced through the USB input.
