The Hollyland Lark M1 Duo radio microphone system is designed for high-quality sound recording on video cameras, dictaphones, smartphones, etc. It is suitable for outdoor filming, studio work, live broadcasts, bloggers, as well as for speaking engagements at conferences, meetings, and even small concerts.
Features:
- Operating range 2.4 GHz, professional HiFi sound quality, sampling frequency up to 48kHz/16bit.
- Signal transmission distance: up to 200m, delay 5ms.
- Hollyland HearClear noise reduction system.
- Volume level adjustment on the receiver.
- Transmitter battery life: up to 8 hours, receiver: up to 20 hours.
- Quick setup for communication between receiver and transmitters.
- Rounded edges on the transmitter to prevent excessive friction.
Like all devices developed by Hollyland Technology, the Lark M1 Duo has an excellent ergonomic design, high-quality electronic components, and can provide detailed sound recording within a radius of up to 200 meters in line of sight. Thanks to the exclusive automatic frequency switching technology, the system maintains connection stability between the receiver and transmitters even in challenging work conditions. The advanced HearClear noise reduction system filters out surrounding noise for clear voice recording.
The Lark M1 Duo supports two operating modes:
Stereo: Sound from the transmitters is separated into different output channels on the receiver. For example, the first transmitter is in the right channel, and the second transmitter is in the left. This mode allows recording two speakers or two sound sources on separate channels without the need for additional systems, creating a "surround" effect.
Mono: Sound from both transmitters is mixed and present in both the right and left output channels of the receiver. This mode is useful for recording a single sound source or when there is no need to separate audio channels.
The Lark M1 Duo receiver weighs only 17.5 grams, which is lightweight and easy to clip onto camera mounts, camera straps, or clothing. The receiver clip is designed to fit into the camera's cold shoe, camera rig, or clothing.
The Lark M1 Duo consists of one receiver and two transmitters, allowing you to work simultaneously with two speakers or record two other sound sources at the same time.
On the side of the receiver, there is an output for connecting audio recording equipment, a power on/off button, volume level adjustment buttons, and a USB Type-C port for connecting external power sources or updating the system firmware. It should be noted that the Lark M1 Duo does not function as an audio interface for computers and does not output signal via USB Type-C. For sound recording, use the receiver's audio output connected to the computer's sound interface via a Jack 3.5 TRS cable.
Unlike its older sibling, the Lark 150 Duo system, the Lark M1 Duo does not have a display with real-time information. All system operating modes are indicated by two LED indicators on the front of the receiver. These indicators display the operating mode, battery level of the respective transmitter or receiver.
The buttons on the receiver and transmitters are designed to prevent accidental mode switching during operation. For example, holding the power button for a certain time is required to turn the power on or off.
The transmitters of the Lark M1 Duo system are equipped with a built-in microphone with omnidirectional cardioid. The microphone's acoustic characteristics are optimized for clear sound recording. Unlike the Lark 150 Duo, the Lark M1 Duo transmitters cannot be connected to wired lavalier microphones. However, this does not affect the quality of the recorded sound.
On the bottom of the Lark M1 Duo transmitter, there is a USB Type-C port for connecting external power sources or charging the battery without using the charging case.
The Lark M1 Duo charging and storage case has compartments for the receiver and transmitters, equipped with a battery capable of providing a full charge to the system twice. The case is charged via a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the case.
The built-in batteries of the Lark M1 Duo system's receivers and transmitters, when fully charged, can provide continuous operation for up to 8 hours.
