Unlike traditional magnets that cause distortion in sound waves, the unique Stealth Magnets allow waves to pass through without interference. The advanced design of the HiFiMAN magnets is acoustically transparent, significantly reducing diffraction turbulence that disrupts the integrity of sound waves. This reduction in distortion results in clean, accurate, and full-range sound.
In addition to the stealth magnets, the Sundara Closed Back driver also features the familiar HIFIMAN technology - the super nano-diaphragm NEO. This new diaphragm is 80% thinner than previous designs, providing quick response and detailed, full-range sound.
The headphones are accentuated by elegant handmade beechwood ear cups, which isolate the listener from ambient noise and emphasize the natural bass response of the original recording. The Sundara Closed Back utilizes the same headband as the original Sundara, but the cup design differs as they are made of beechwood with a yellow Luminarc hue, and the rear part is completely closed without visible ventilation holes.
The HIFIMAN Sundara Closed-Back come with a detachable dual-sided 3.5mm cable and a 6.35mm adapter for compatibility with a wide range of devices.
