Released at the end of 2021, the "new" HIFIMAN Deva Pro is a kind of continuation of the original Deva, released in early 2020.
Features:
- transducer type: planar magnetic;
- frequency range 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz;
- sensitivity: 93.5 dB;
- impedance: 18 ohms;
- the headphones' headband has an ergonomic, comfortable, almost weightless design;
- improved diaphragm and perfect sound quality thanks to the hidden magnet.
Unlike conventional magnets that create distortions of sound waves, the special shape of Stealth Magnets allows the waves to pass through the magnets without interference. The advanced design of HiFiMAN magnets is acoustically transparent, significantly reducing diffraction turbulence that disrupts the integrity of sound waves. Reduced distortion allows for clear, accurate, and full-range sound.
The new Deva Pro still uses a circular planar driver in an open back housing with an ultra-thin diaphragm NEO "supernano" (NSD). This is what HiFiMAN has been using for several years in its high-end drivers. It is all about the thickness of the diaphragm, which is at the nanometer level of measurement. The search for the thinnest diaphragm first appeared in the HE1000 model at the end of 2015, and since then, it has undergone subsequent changes to an even thinner level, as in the Deva Pro. The material is not only lightweight and low mass, but also seemingly dense, truly durable, and intended to achieve a very high-quality fast dynamic response compared to conventional planar diaphragms.
The headphones' headband has an ergonomic, comfortable design that is suitable for most users. The headphones can be connected with both a two-sided unbalanced 3.5mm cable and a single-sided 3.5mm balanced cable (left socket). The Bluemini R2R module easily connects to the left socket.
