The MS5 is equipped with a 10mm dynamic proprietary driver made of liquid silicone. It is manufactured using a multi-layer pressure casting method. Its Kevlar housing has a thickness of 0.03mm and is filled with liquid silicone 0.45mm thick. Kevlar possesses ultra-high elasticity, and when combined with liquid silicone, forms a dynamic radiator with excellent elasticity, fast transient response, high sensitivity, and quick response time. Kevlar helps absorb vibration and reduce interference caused by the driver's internal losses, significantly reducing distortion and resulting in a more natural and smooth sound.
Sonion Balanced Armature Driver
In conjunction with the dynamic driver, four balanced armature drivers from Sonion in Denmark are utilized. For ultra-high frequencies, the top-of-the-line E50DT composite driver is used, which reproduces a wide sound field with transparent and natural sound, high resolution, and bright timbre. The transitional mid/high range is handled by the 2389 driver, which is responsible for the richness of details in the main range. The 17A003 driver is employed for low frequencies, providing deep and powerful bass.
Exclusive soldering process
The MS5 housing utilizes an exclusive compound material that contains gold-plated tin wire for internal connections. Gold is extremely stable and not prone to oxidation, which offers numerous advantages such as efficient electronic signal transmission and component durability. Gold is only used in high-end products and also enhances sound clarity.
Signature sound tuning filters
The MS5 resonator design incorporates an improved technology called "Hidizs Pneumatic Sound Tuning Filter." By changing the sound tuning filter, you can experience new auditory sensations with the same headphones and enhance your gaming experience. The MS5 comes with three types of interchangeable sound tuning filters. Each filter influences the tone character, high frequency, and low frequency by simply altering the direction of airflow within the housing cavity. Balanced - suitable for pop music and folk. High frequency - improves smoothness and suits string and classical music. Low frequency - energetic and suitable for rock and heavy metal.
Unique "Dark Angel" design
The MS5 features a solid, lightweight construction made from an aluminum alloy. The thickness and volume of metal have been minimized to achieve a balance between strength and weight. Anodization of the aluminum alloy surface forms a layer of aluminum oxide film on the panel surface, effectively increasing the hardness of the housing and making it smoother while reducing fingerprint residue. Furthermore, it can reduce harmonic resonance inside the headphone cavity, minimize distortion, and provide a cleaner and more stable audio output signal.
The panel is made of a skin-friendly resin material, and the weight is further reduced by the process of deepening. After numerous processes such as polishing and spraying, it takes on the appearance of angel wings, like a messenger in the dark night, gazing at the night sky. The space between the panel and the housing is a mesh panel made of rose gold, and the overall visual sensation can be described as dazzling. The golden mesh panel is visible through the hollow wings.
New design for removable cable 0.78mm 2pin
MS5 uses a standard removable cable 0.78mm 2pin, which is more flexible. This allows you to use MS5 with other cables to hear different styles and experience a variety of sounds. The plastic, curved base of the connector has been transformed into the shape of angel armor, making the "Dark Angel" model more lively and interesting.
