Description

Hidizs has developed the DH80S for high-resolution sound file playback. The device boasts excellent components, with an upgraded ESS9281C signal decoding chip that offers high dynamic range, low power consumption, ultra-low distortion, and more. The DAC works in conjunction with two independent OPAMP RT6863C amplifiers, allowing the device to output up to 4 Vrms on the balanced output (4.4 mm).

Features:

  • Native DSD64/128 support
  • MQA audio technology support
  • ESS9281C PRO DAC chip + two RT6863C operational amplifiers
  • 3-level gain selection and high output power
  • Enhanced configuration for improved sound quality
  • Magnetic adsorption design
  • Apple Lossless support

The ESS9281C Pro chip + two RT6863C operational amplifiers

The device is driven by a high-quality DAC with the latest ES9281C Pro chip from Sabre Technologies, working in tandem with two independent operational amplifiers RT6863C, allowing the device to output up to 4 Vrms on the balanced (4.4 mm) output. Furthermore, the manufacturer claims that the device has a very high-quality component base, including capacitors from Panasonic, Dual Crystal Oscillators, and more. The quality components and refined software allow the Hidizs DH80S to decode high-resolution audio signals with full, 8x MQA decoding. Additionally, it supports PCM decoding up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD128.

Sample Rate Indicator Light

The LED indicator lights up in different colors: red for 44.1k-48k, blue for 88.2k-384k, pink for MQA. It syncs with the currently playing track's sample rate.

Magnetic Design

Thanks to the high-quality magnet, the DH80S and AP80/AP80 Pro devices can easily connect and securely fix in place. The connection ports are also well protected.

Package includes:

  • DAC
  • USB-C charging cable
  • USB-C to USB-C cable
  • Documentation.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
