Heritage Audio introduces the RAM 1000 monitor controller, designed for home recording or medium-sized studios. This new device boasts a set of efficient features, along with the signature stepped volume control in the style of Marconi.

The controller features two sets of balanced inputs and outputs, accessible via buttons on the top panel. The first input is equipped with XLR/TRS combo jacks, and the second input (TRS) allows selection between +4 dBu and -10 dBV.
The first output (XLR) can be disconnected from the volume control and used as a recording output, while the second output (TRS) is intended for monitoring purposes only. Additionally, there is a high-quality headphones output with independent volume control.
It is worth noting that the built-in Bluetooth module provides additional connectivity options for media players or other devices. The following supported codecs are specified: APTX, APTX LL, APTX HD, SBC, and AAC.
Furthermore, the device features a passive attenuator with 24 steps at 3 dB intervals and a volume control knob accompanied by Mono, Mute, and Dim buttons. The audio path of the controller is passive, and USB-C power is required for other RAM 1000 functions, located on the rear panel.
