The massive Hegel H30 monoblocks are capable of driving even the most complex acoustic systems and are one of the best power amplifiers ever created by Hegel. The device is designed as a monoblock, but it also has the option to work as a two-channel power amplifier.
Features:
- 1100 W at 8 Ohm in monophonic mode;
- patented SoundEngine technology;
- stable even under 1 Ohm load;
- 56 high-speed bipolar transistors 15A 200W with ultra-low distortion in the output stage;
- power supply with capacitors totaling 270,000 μF;
- balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, as well as 12 V trigger input.
The Hegel H30A is the benchmark power amplifier. It's called the "Orchestra" because that's what it is. The purpose of the H30A is to take control of any music on any speakers and make it sound as best as possible, even without breaking a sweat. We can't think of more complex music than a large orchestral piece.
The Hegel H30A model is an absolute powerhouse amplifier. In monophonic mode, it delivers a truly impressive 1100 W at 8 Ohms and remains completely stable even under a 1 Ohm load. The H30A power supply includes 2 separate 1000 VA toroidal transformers for quick response and minimizing transformer noise. With a power supply featuring 270,000 μF capacitors, the H30A can handle even the most complex musical composition at any volume. The output stage utilizes 56 high-speed bipolar transistors 15A 200W with ultra-low distortion. With such high power available at any time, things like speaker sensitivity and load changes no longer matter. With the H30A, you can confidently drive any speaker you like.
In the input stage of the Hegel H30A, field-effect transistors with a single pair are used. These are carefully hand-selected transistors with exactly the same ratings, therefore eliminating higher order harmonic distortions. Other types of distortions are eliminated through the patented SoundEngine technology. It actively tracks musical signal distortions and corrects them using a direct feedback design. SoundEngine effectively eliminates distortions in real time as the signal is amplified. Thanks to these measures, the H30A sounds very smooth and natural, without sacrificing details.
The Hegel H30A is designed as a monophonic power amplifier, but it can also be used as a stereophonic power amplifier. It has balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, as well as a 12 V trigger input. For the best connection, the H30A is equipped with high-quality gold-plated terminals for speaker connection. More bass, more details, more involvement - everything is more. With the H30A, the developers have achieved a completely new level of distinctions. The bass in the H30A is extremely deep, but never dominating. The high frequencies are exceptionally detailed, but never fatiguing. And the articulation of vocals in the mid-range is simply flawless.
