The Genelec 1032C is a 2-way nearfield studio monitor. Among its distinctive features are the use of drivers from the previous model - a 10-inch woofer and a 25 mm tweeter loaded onto a DCW waveguide. Despite this, the updated monitor weighs several kilograms less.
Features:
- Type: Active 2-way nearfield/midfield monitor
- Drivers: 10" 250W woofer, 1" 150W tweeter
- Optional calibration with GLM calibrator
- Inputs: Analog XLR, Digital XLR (AES/EBU), 2x RJ45 for GLM system
- Maximum sound pressure level: SPL 114 dB
- Frequency response: 33Hz-23kHz (±6 dB)
- Crossover 1800Hz
- Dimensions (HxWxD): 495 x 320 x 290 mm
- Weight: 17 kg
This weight reduction was achieved thanks to the use of Class D amplifiers and a universal switching power supply. It's worth noting the increased total output power of the model - 400 watts, as well as expanded connectivity options. These include: one balanced analog input; digital AES/EBU input and output; two RJ45 ports. The presence of RJ45 ports indicates that the Genelec 1032C monitors are part of the Smart Active Monitor family, meaning they can automatically adapt to the acoustic environment. To do this, they are connected to a local network and calibrated using the proprietary GLM 2.0 software and AutoCal system.
