The TAM tweeter with an inverted M-shaped dome ensures extreme clarity and accuracy in the upper frequencies, maintaining high sound quality during long listening sessions. The midrange speaker, also using Slatefiber diffusers, delivers expressive and neutral sound quality. The tilting feet of the speaker system provide Time Alignment, centering the sound stage on the listener for a deeper and emotional sound immersion.
The Slatefiber technology is an exclusive development by Focal, created in France, utilizing non-woven recycled carbon fibers placed between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In their pursuit of excellence, Focal engineers chose to use unidirectional non-woven carbon fibers to achieve greater rigidity, improved damping, and lightweight - three key components of a good speaker system.
The tweeter, manufactured in France in Focal laboratories, consists of an inverted dome made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy with the famous "M" profile characteristic of Focal products. This profile enhances rigidity, reduces distortion, and provides a wider sound dispersion angle, resulting in more refined high frequencies.
The Vestia speaker systems are equipped with a front ventilation port for enhanced frontal impact and a rear port for all-encompassing bass - a bass reflex profile that enhances the depth of the sound stage.
