TMD suspension technology:
This technology ensures a linear frequency response in the range from 1 to 4 kHz, significantly reducing distortion in this range. The neutral inductance scheme, stabilizing the magnetic field, was a complex task that needed to be overcome to avoid harmonic distortion and intermodulation. Research conducted allowed Focal engineers to develop an extremely stable magnetic circuit.
Acoustic refinement:
The entire crossover system in the new drivers has been carefully reworked to provide even greater accuracy. The rigidity of the Stella Utopia EM EVO enclosure has been increased with reinforcing rings placed around the drivers, enhancing overall acoustic coherence.
Real-world testing:
Focus engineers selected components on the market, choosing them from the best world-renowned brands after testing them in real-world conditions. All internal wiring in the blocks is made in France. Studying the aspects of connecting these new speakers, Focal decided to increase the wire thickness by 20%. The results are immediately noticeable: the sound becomes even clearer and more natural. As for the bass register, the acoustic padding made of wool, integrated into the enclosure, has been thickened to achieve even denser bass with greater control and precision.
Each speaker module is separate. Multiple speaker enclosures and Stella Utopia EM EVO are connected in a backbone-like manner. They can be oriented using a lever. This focusing adjustment feature allows you to perfectly tune the sound field according to your interior.
Metallic colors:
The Focal Stella Utopia EM EVO speakers stand out with their distinctive colors inspired by the automotive universe. Stella Utopia EM Evo is available in metallic blue, ash grey, and British racing green, in addition to timeless black lacquer and Carrara white. The Utopia Evo shape remains the same, only in an updated modern style.
The speaker cabinet is fully covered in a single-color lacquer: the front and side panels will now be identical. Detailing is also crucial; black color actively returns with graphite-black finishes of the baskets and tweeter housing. These finish options provide overall coherence that is more harmonious and understated, further emphasizing the originality of the new colors.
