The French company Focal has introduced a line of home theater speakers sib evo with Dolby Atmos support. Home theater systems with Dolby Atmos sound support are becoming increasingly popular. To upgrade a classic 5.1 home theater system to an Atmos version, simply add a pair of speakers directed at the ceiling.
Features:
- Dolby Atmos support;
- speaker system with subwoofer;
- subwoofer speaker with a 210mm Polyplex cone;
- maximum power of 200W;
- two-way Sib Evo satellites;
- suitable for rooms ranging from 10 to 50 square meters.
The line includes three positions: Sib Evo satellites, Sib Evo Dolby Atmos speakers (responsible for Dolby Atmos sound), and Cub Evo subwoofer. The Sib Evo satellite features a 5-inch woofer with a polyflex diaphragm and a one-inch tweeter. The claimed frequency range of the satellite is from 65Hz to 25kHz. The Sib Evo Dolby Atmos speaker is equipped with a three-inch wideband driver (oriented towards the ceiling). The speaker's enclosure is larger compared to the satellite to provide deep sound.
The compact Cub Evo subwoofer belongs to the Focal theater line and is designed to work in conjunction with the brand's satellites. The outward appearance of the setup resembles a nearly perfect cube resting on small legs. The front panel features a decent port for the phase inverter, and the low-frequency driver is oriented downwards. The 210mm diaphragm driver is made of a patented Polyplex composite, combining high rigidity and low mass. The amplifier role is carried out by the highly efficient bash amplifier, delivering up to 150W peak power. An interesting feature of the model is the fixed cutoff frequency at 110Hz. According to engineers, this is the most optimal value for accurate integration with the "native" satellites.
Package includes:
- subwoofer;
- 5 satellite speakers;
- power cable;
- documentation.
