The company's engineers have kept the sound architecture of Utopia III, both drivers are equipped with the latest Focal technologies: the NIC (Neutral Inductive Circuit) and TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension, aimed at reducing non-linear distortions in the fragile mid-frequency range, which is crucial for conveying the performer's emotions. The perfectly matched bass retains the Maestro's characteristics in terms of dynamic range and sound pressure. Now, the reproduction of each register in Maestro Utopia Evo is even more authentic and accurately conveys the breadth of the dynamic range. It offers customizable sound with adjustable low, mid, and high frequencies. A high-density damping material has been applied to the internal surfaces of the bass section to contribute to well-controlled, precise, and fast bass.
Equipped with a new generation switching panel, the Focal Maestro Utopia EVO allows for Bi-amping connection for personalized sound tuning. The best components have also found their place in the lineup: custom-made internal wiring cables from France, denser damping material for the bass section, bi-wiring connection, and separate crossovers.
Available in various finishes, with the front panel covered in a single-tone lacquer, and in lacquer finishes, the front and side panels have the same color. These finishing options ensure visual coherence, harmony, and subtlety, highlighting the originality of the new colors.
