The engineers have preserved the sound architecture of Utopia III, and both drivers are equipped with the latest Focal technologies: a driver with NIC (Neutral Inductive Circuit) and a TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension, aimed at reducing nonlinear distortion in the delicate midrange, which is crucial for conveying the emotions of the performer. The perfectly coordinated bass retains the Maestro's characteristics in terms of dynamic range and sound pressure. Now, reproducing each register in the Maestro Utopia Evo is even more true to life and accurately conveys the breadth of the dynamic range. Customizable sound with adjustable levels of low, mid, and high frequencies. The bass section's internal surfaces feature a high-density damping material that contributes to well-controlled, precise, and fast bass.
Equipped with a new generation switching panel, the Focal Maestro Utopia EVO allows for Bi-amping connection for personalized sound tuning. The best components have also found their place in the lineup: custom-made cables for internal wiring, denser damping material for the bass section, bi-wiring connection, and separate crossovers.
In wood veneer finishes, the front panel is covered with a single-tone lacquer. In lacquer finishes, the front and side panels have the same color. These finishing options provide visual coherence, harmony, and understated elegance, highlighting the originality of the new colors.
