The company's engineers have preserved the sound architecture of Utopia III, equipping both speakers with the latest Focal technologies: a NIC driver (Neutral Inductive Circuit) and TMD suspension (Tuned Mass Damper). The goal of these technologies is to reduce nonlinear distortions in the delicate midrange, which is crucial for conveying the emotions of the performer. The flawless bass in Maestro Utopia Evo maintains the characteristics of Maestro in terms of dynamic range and sound pressure. Now, the reproduction of each range in Maestro Utopia Evo is even more faithful, accurately conveying the breadth of the dynamic range. Customizable sound with adjustable levels of bass, midrange, and treble frequencies. A high-density damping material has been applied to the internal surfaces of the bass section, contributing to well-controlled, precise, and fast bass.
Equipped with a new generation of switching panel, the Focal Maestro Utopia EVO allows for Bi-amping connection for personalized sound tuning. The best components have also found their place in the lineup: custom-made internal wiring cables in France, denser damping material for the bass section, bi-wiring connection, and separate crossovers.
Available in wood veneer finishes, the front panel is covered in a solid lacquer. In lacquered finishes, the front and side panels have the same color. These finish options provide visual consistency, harmony, and subtlety, highlighting the uniqueness of the new colors.
