The company's engineers have preserved the sound architecture of Utopia III, equipping both drivers with the latest Focal technologies: a driver with NIC (Neutral Inductive Circuit) and TMD suspension (Tuned Mass Damper), aimed at reducing nonlinear distortions in the fragile mid-frequency range, which is crucial for capturing the performer's emotions. The perfectly balanced bass retains the characteristics of the Maestro in terms of dynamic range and sound pressure. Now, reproducing each register in the Maestro Utopia Evo is even more authentic, accurately conveying the breadth of the dynamic range. Customizable sound with adjustable levels of low, mid, and high frequencies. A high-density damping material has been applied to the internal surfaces of the bass section, contributing to well-controlled, precise, and fast bass.
Equipped with a new switching panel, the next-generation Focal Maestro Utopia EVO allows for bi-amping connection for personalized sound tuning. The best components have also found their place in the lineup: custom-made internal wiring cables from France, denser damping material for the bass section, bi-wiring connection, and separate crossovers.
Available in wood veneer finishes, the front panel is covered in a solid color lacquer. In lacquered finishes, the front and side panels have the same color. These finishing options provide visual consistency, harmony, and understated elegance, emphasizing the originality of the new colors.
