The engineers at the company have preserved the sound architecture of Utopia III, with both drivers equipped with the latest Focal technologies: the NIC (Neutral Inductive Contour) driver and the TMD (Tuned Mass-Damper) surround, aiming to reduce nonlinear distortions in the fragile mid-frequency range, crucial for conveying the performer's emotions. The perfectly coordinated bass maintains Maestro's characteristics regarding dynamic range and sound pressure. Now, each register in Maestro Utopia Evo is reproduced even more faithfully, providing a wider dynamic range. The sound is customizable with adjustable levels of low, mid, and high frequencies. A high-density damping material has been applied to the internal surfaces of the bass section to contribute to a well-controlled, precise, and fast bass response.
Equipped with a new generation switch panel, the Focal Maestro Utopia EVO allows for Bi-amping connection for personalized sound tuning. The best components have also found their place in the lineup: custom-made internal wiring cables from France, denser damping material for the bass section, dual-cable connection, and separate crossovers.
Available in veneer finishes, the front panel is covered in a single-tone lacquer, while lacquer finishes feature consistent colors on the front and side panels. These finishing options ensure visual harmony, coherence, and understated elegance, highlighting the originality of the new colors.
