The main goal of the design was to find a solution that would preserve the dynamics of a track without losing the detail of its audio spectrum. Despite the closed-back design, providing excellent isolation from external noise, they create a sense of very lively sound, characteristic of semi-open headphones.
The headphone speaker drivers feature 100% Mylar suspension, while the central dome is made of a Mylar and titanium alloy for greater strength and extended high-frequency range. Low and ultra-low frequency reproduction has also been given great attention. Engineers managed to combine such difficult-to-compatible factors as a tuning frequency as low as possible and very low distortion coefficient (0.3% at 1 kHz - 100 dB). The dimensions of the cushions, made of a shape-memory thermosensitive material, allow for superb tonal balance. Microfiber provides a more linear bass response, improving sound quality, and the acoustic material closer to the driver ensures good absorption and a linear characteristic in the frequency range of 3-9 kHz. Outstanding tonal balance and excellent articulation improve headphone sound in the bass and mid-frequency parts of the spectrum, where closed-back models usually have worse compression and frequency response indicators. Listen Professional feature an extremely flexible headband made of soft material with a unique design, providing increased comfort and durability.
The headband curve remains constant regardless of the user's head shape and size. Combined with a silicone layer at the bottom of the headband, this allows for even distribution of the load, ensuring no uncomfortable pressure sensations during long periods of use. A special hinge connection allows the cups to rotate in horizontal and vertical planes, while the black textured coating protects them from scratches and mechanical damage.
