The Aria Evo X opens a new chapter for the signature Aria feature: the iconic linen diffuser now appears in the midrange and bass drivers of the range. The innovative Focal diffuser, first introduced in the Aria 900 range in 2013, is made of French linen fiber and is used to create a very natural sound, without coloration, with rich midrange reproduction and clear bass. Manufactured in Focal's workshops, it offers captivating and dynamic listening experiences, reproducing vocals with exceptional clarity and precision.
The Flax diffuser, patented by Focal, is a multilayer "sandwich" construction made of fiber (French linen) sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass. The diffuser meets all the requirements for high-quality products of this kind: it is light to maintain high dynamic characteristics, yet rigid to hold bass, damps for neutral, natural, and uncolored sound, richness of sound in the mid-range, and powerful impact on low frequencies.
Thanks to Focal's sound know-how, these speakers boast outstanding technological innovations exclusive to the brand. The TAM tweeter in the shape of the letter "M" with an inverted dome, successor to the TNF tweeter. This innovative feature faithfully reproduces high frequencies, delving into the highs and lows of the spectrum.
The TAM tweeter is an innovative development by Focal, produced in France. The driver provides a wide dispersion angle and higher sound resolution without directionality. Consisting of an aluminum-magnesium alloy inverted M-shaped dome diffuser, it impeccably maintains harmonic balance, detailed and cleanly reproducing high frequencies.
Focal engineers have also revamped the crossovers, adding higher quality components to improve speaker balance.
