Focal 300 ICW 8 is designed for wall or ceiling installation. It can also be used for listening to music or movie soundtracks in a home theater setup. In these cases, the speaker can deliver surround sound effects or even be used as part of a multi-channel system like 5.1, 7.1, 5.1.2, etc. The natural and clear sound of the speakers perfectly highlights the voices of performers or dialogues in movies.

Ceiling/Wall speaker 300 ICW 8 is the most compact model in the 300 Series. It is discreet and has a very good balance between size and efficiency.
This speaker with two separate bands consists of a 210mm Flax membrane woofer/midrange and a tweeter with an inverted dome made of aluminum-magnesium alloy. The Flax technology, exclusive to Focal, is based on the use of an environmentally friendly fabric with a linen base. The Flax membranes, consisting of fiber core covered with two layers of glass fiber, have amazing acoustic rigidity while being lightweight. They compete with the famous W membranes used in the Utopia III, Sopra, and Electra 1000 Be 2 lines, providing remarkable neutrality and clarity of sound.
