Focal 100 ICW 6
The Focal 100 ICW 6 is designed for wall or ceiling installation. It can also be used for music listening or movie soundtracks in a home theater configuration. In these cases, the speaker can deliver surround sound effects or even be used as part of a multi-channel system like 5.1, 7.1, 5.1.2, and more. The natural and clear sound of the speakers perfectly emphasizes the voices of performers or dialogues in movies.

The Focal 100 ICW 6 ceiling/wall speaker is the entry-level model in the company's 100 Series range. It is discreet and has a very good balance between size and efficiency. This speaker with two separate bands consists of a 165mm midrange/woofer with a Polyglass membrane and a tweeter with an aluminum-magnesium alloy inverted dome.
The Polyglass technology, exclusive to Focal, involves applying microspheres of molten glass to a cellulose pulp cone. This process combines the excellent damping of paper with the rigidity of glass. The rigidity surpasses even that of single-layer Kevlar and is almost ten times higher than that of polypropylene.
Adjusting the mass/stiffness/damping ratio provides exceptional linearity of the frequency response curve, all thanks to the unique cone construction. This innovation also significantly enhances image clarity in the midrange.
