Final Audio D7000
Final Inc. and the D7000: A New Benchmark in Headphone Technology
Final Inc. has long been celebrated for its commitment to crafting exceptional audio products. Known for pushing the boundaries of headphone technology, Final Inc. has introduced the D7000, a new flagship model that builds upon their pioneering efforts in research and development. This model is an evolution of the renowned D8000 series, incorporating advanced technologies and design improvements to set a new standard in high-fidelity sound.
Introducing the D7000: The Pinnacle of Audio Innovation
The D7000 marks a significant leap in headphone technology, featuring the newly developed Pinna-Aligned Diffuser and an enhanced AFDS (Air Film Damping System) driver. This cutting-edge technology ensures that the D7000 delivers both the delicate high frequencies typical of planar magnetic drivers and the full-bodied, open bass associated with dynamic drivers.
Key Features:
Pinna-Aligned Diffuser Technology
The D7000 introduces the Pinna-Aligned Diffuser, a technology inspired by acoustic diffusion principles used in professional recording studios. This new diffuser is designed to adapt to various ear shapes, ensuring consistent sound quality across different users. Extensive simulations and listening tests have refined this technology to provide an optimal listening experience.
Enhanced AFDS Driver2.
Building on the success of the AFDS from previous models, the D7000 features an advanced version of this system. The AFDS technology effectively addresses the issue of the diaphragm coming into contact with the magnet in low-frequency reproduction. This innovation allows for a broader frequency range and a richer bass response, akin to high-quality dynamic drivers.
Lightweight Design
The D7000 is approximately 16% lighter than its predecessors, thanks to a complete redesign. This reduction in weight, combined with the use of high-durability Japanese Washi paper for the earpads, provides enhanced comfort without compromising durability.
Acoustic Excellence
Delicate High Frequencies: The diaphragm of the D7000 is about one-third lighter than that of similar dynamic models. It features an ultra-thin aluminum foil coil etched onto an extremely lightweight film diaphragm. This eliminates the need for adhesive, which often degrades sound quality, leading to pristine high-frequency reproduction. Rich, Open Bass: The new driver and breathable earpads work together to deliver bass that is both full and open, resolving the common issue of planar magnetic drivers lacking low-frequency depth.
Durable and Repairable Design
The D7000 is designed for longevity and ease of repair, with nearly every part being disassemblable. This ensures that the headphones can be maintained and upgraded over the years.
Precision-Machined Aluminum Magnesium Alloy Housing
The housing is crafted from aluminum magnesium alloy, machined to high precision to support the AFDS technology. This results in a robust and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Made in Japan
Final Inc. takes pride in its meticulous manufacturing process, with the D7000 produced at their factory in Kawasaki. This involves designing and manufacturing production jigs and specialized equipment in-house to ensure unparalleled quality control.
Included Accessories
The D7000 comes with two types of detachable cables: an OFC silver-coated balanced cable (XLR 4-pin / 3m) and an OFC black balanced cable (4.4mm TRRRS / 1.5m), catering to both stationary and portable audio setups. An Attached Case-Type, New Carrying Case with a TRAVEL SENTRY Approved Lock is included for secure and convenient transport.
Comparing the D7000 to the D8000 and D8000 Pro Edition
D8000: Known for its wide dynamic range, especially suited for classical music.
D8000 Pro Edition: Offers higher resolution and is tailored for pop and rock genres with a narrower dynamic range.
D7000: Strikes a balance between the two, providing high resolution and smoothness, with an emphasis on voice and string clarity, making it versatile across various music genres.

Design Ideas Brought to Life: Our Commitment to Innovation
While a designer's vision is crucial for product development, transforming these ideas into reality often requires more than just conceptualization—it necessitates the creation of specialized jigs and machinery for producing “products that do not yet exist.”
We founded our own factory with a clear goal: to achieve what is typically beyond reach. We knew that to make the impossible possible, we needed an environment where feedback from both the design and production teams could flow seamlessly, supported by facilities and tools designed for rigorous trial and error.
Our factory is where innovation meets execution. We design and manufacture the drivers for our products and assemble high-end earphones and headphones. But our commitment goes beyond mere production. Our skilled staff don’t just follow instructions; they actively propose enhancements and take immense pride in their craft, contributing to the creation of superior products.
In our factory, we blend design ingenuity with hands-on craftsmanship to turn groundbreaking ideas into exceptional audio experiences.
