The housing is made of durable aviation-grade aluminum or brass, giving the product a unique appearance. The design of the headphones follows Final Audio's signature style - minimalist, ergonomic, and functional, ensuring comfortable wear even over extended periods.
Diamond is the ideal material for diaphragms due to its excellent physical properties such as sound speed and hardness. The outstanding stiffness of diamond on bending greatly contributes to achieving the "ultra-low distortion DU" we aimed for. In this product, the "True Diamond" method is used - producing diamond foil by crystallizing diamond on silicon followed by silicon melting.
By reducing distortions in the ultra-low frequency range and improving amplitude-frequency characteristics in the ultra-low frequency range, Final Audio has achieved unprecedented improvement in low-frequency reproduction and reduced bleed into the delicate and bright mid and high-frequency range with good transient processes. Reproducing vast amounts of musical information with stunning resolution, it also achieves an amazing sense of separation, allowing you to feel on which frequency you are focused. In addition, there are no distortions, so the silence of quiet parts of the music is even more pronounced, and each sound stands out even more.
The housing is made of high-strength stainless steel with precise mechanical processing. The design provides reliable support for the driver and suppresses unnecessary vibrations, resulting in clearer sound contours. Additionally, the housing is adorned with a wave-like, precisely cut pattern known as "Cotes de Geneve." This technique is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides less deviation in accuracy compared to polishing, as the cut surface has the same finished dimensions, making it often used for luxury watch components.
No adhesives are used for assembling the housing or securing the DU; instead, screws are used, which is a complex construction that allows for long-term repairability. Additionally, the screw tightening force securely supports each part, suppressing unwanted resonance.
The high-precision cable with silver-coated ePTFE and MMCX connector is produced by our company. This product was developed in collaboration with Junkosha, known for developing and manufacturing cables for achieving high signal transmission speeds for the supercomputer "K." The wire material is silver-plated OFC wire, which incorporates the know-how developed by Junkosha under the Junflon brand over the years, while the insulation coating is made of ePTFE (expanded Teflon), which has even lower dielectric permeability than standard PFA (fluoropolymer). All aspects are specifically designed for the A10000.
The MMCX connector has been upgraded to be even more reliable and precise than our previous in-house developed product. Since 2PIN uses the elasticity of the pin itself to provide extraction force, its design does not allow for it to be durable, so MMCX is used for long-term reliability.
