FiiO K7 BT - Headphone Amplifier with Built-in DAC

The FiiO K7 BT is a headphone amplifier with a built-in digital-to-analog converter. This device features a fully symmetrical six-step audio circuit, minimizing crosstalk. With the THX AAA 788+ amplifiers, the K7 BT delivers 0.56W into 300 Ohms and 2W into 32 Ohms with 1% distortion.

Features:

  • Balanced circuitry
  • THX AAA 788+ amplification technology
  • 2 x AK4493S DAC
  • Output power: 2W into 32 Ohms and 560mW into 300 Ohms, with a 4.4mm balanced output
  • Improved power supply with low noise levels
  • RGB backlighting indicating PCM/DSD playback formats and input modes
  • Bluetooth 5.1 support with LDAC/aptX HD/aptX Adaptive codecs
  • 2 levels of amplification
  • 4.4mm balanced output
  • Aluminum housing

The K7 BT features a six-step sound circuit with truly balanced analog and digital sections, reducing crosstalk and reproducing music with maximum accuracy.

High-Quality Balanced Amplification

The K7 BT is equipped with the same THX AAA 788+ amplifiers as the K9 PRO. It provides 560mW of power into 300 Ohms with 1% distortion and 2000mW into 32 Ohms with 1% distortion. This ensures consistent amplification for headphones with a wide range of impedance and, most importantly, allows you to experience the musicality that will touch your heart.

The left and right channels are equipped with efficient, high-performance AK4493SEQ DAC. With its accurate timbre reproduction and rich and delicate sound, you can rediscover your music.

High-Precision Decoding

The XMOS XUF208 decoder chip uses dual clock frequency control to easily handle various music formats, allowing you to easily listen to many audio formats.

The RGB indicators are capable of displaying individual and mixed colors with a unique light flow effect when powering on/off or switching input signals. The dazzling lighting effects add a much-needed flair to your desk.

Advanced Device Protection System

Protection systems against overheating, overload, and short circuits ensure that the K7 BT always operates at its best, so you can enjoy listening without worrying about the device.

The K7 BT has a power design consisting of multiple independent cascades, with the voltage of each cascade regulated by low noise LDOS. This power design is powered by an external 12V power supply. Overall, the power design of the K7 BT ensures powerful and clean power for high-quality listening.

Bluetooth

The K7 BT uses the QCC5124 Bluetooth chip, which provides support for high-resolution LDAC, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive codecs, allowing you to listen to Hi-Res audio wirelessly. Bluetooth 5.1 ensures a stable and responsive connection.

A single toggle switch controls the switching between 5 different inputs with a smooth light effect, indicating when the input is switched and ready for use.

2 Levels of Amplification

High and low levels of hardware amplification allow you to easily adjust the K7 BT to work with headphones of different impedance and sensitivity, providing rich and stable listening.

The K7 BT has a fully aluminum alloy construction, carefully processed using CNC machining and other technological processes. Its elegant black color is perfectly complemented by gold THX and Hi-Res Audio logos, enhanced by RGB backlighting, creating a luxurious appearance.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
