Compared to the E series, the K5 Pro ESS has made a breakthrough in design and assembly, with tighter tolerances for all joints and connections in the housing, and improved surface treatment. The front panel is designed independently from the rest of the housing.

The FiiO K5 Pro ESS, with stronger decoding, helps you truly experience every moment in the smallest details. It acts as a bridge that allows your computer, speakers, and headphones to function together and takes you to an amazing concert hall right from your workspace.
Enhanced chip
The new XMOS XUF208 USB chip with synchronous pulse generator provides excellent decoding performance. The new ESS ES9038Q2M DAC supports decoding with a sampling rate of up to 768kHz and hardware decoding of DSD512.
High-quality line output
In addition to a wide range of digital inputs, the K5 Pro ESS also features a traditional analog line input RCA. The RCA line input is not only more reliable and less prone to breakage than the 3.5mm input, but also has a higher resolution range. The RCA line signal is adjustable and allows you to set a maximum value of 2Vrms, so the K5 Pro can be used with various active monitors and external power amplifiers.
