The FiiO FH3 is a hybrid IEM with three drivers, designed to replace the FiiO F9 Pro. These headphones are positioned as a premium entry-level model, with a CNC-machined housing, S-Turbo acoustic design, and a completely new acoustic tuning.
Features:
- Hybrid configuration of 2BA + 1DD drivers
- Drivers: 1x Knowles (Highs) - 1x Knowles (Mids) - 1x Knowles dynamic (Lows)
- Connector: MMCX
- Cable: high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated copper
- Housing: magnesium-aluminum alloy
- Frequency response: 10 Hz - 40 kHz
- Impedance: 24 Ohms
- Sensitivity: 114 dB
- Noise isolation (up to): 30 dB
The new housing, directly inherited from the FH5 and FH7, is made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy. This gives the IEM a premium look, and in the hand, the FiiO FH3 definitely feels like an upgraded model compared to the previous F9 Pro.
The build quality of the FiiO FH3 is top-notch, just like with all the latest models. The MMCX port fits perfectly, there are no gaps for your fingers to touch, no shards or misplaced elements, and the smoothness of the housing provides a good level of comfort.
In terms of noise isolation, it is surprisingly good. Of course, it's not as good as IEMs made of acrylic, but once you start playing music at a moderate level, you won't hear any unwanted noise. For daily commuters like myself, this is more than acceptable.
