Tradutto is a fully balanced digital-to-analog converter, designed with optimized circuitry for minimal power consumption. The gold-plated PCB is the foundation of Tradutto's components, including the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M chipset, delivering exceptional performance that effortlessly handles digital audio files up to 32-bit/768kHz or DSD512. The circuitry is further optimized to reduce current and enhance power filtering, minimizing interference from Wi-Fi, cellular signals, and Bluetooth.
Master Quality Authenticated Support
Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) is an award-winning British technology that ensures faithful sound reproduction from the original master recording. Notably, MQA files are of a size suitable for wireless streaming. You can find more information about this technology on our blog. Earmen Tradutto supports various MQA formats, including Original Full Stream (OFS/MQB/MQA core file, decoded file), MQA (hardware-decoded MQA file), and MQA Studio (similar to MQA but used with authorization from the artist or production company).
The built-in Bluetooth 5.1 wireless interface supports modern codecs such as AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX LL, and aptX HD. Featuring the QCC5124 Bluetooth chip, Tradutto ensures reliable and high-quality wireless audio playback on portable devices, even during extended listening sessions. Qualcomm aptX and aptX HD audio codecs guarantee seamless high-quality audio streaming over Bluetooth.
The 16-core XMOS chip (XU216) enables hardware decoding of the MQA format, along with supporting other necessary features for music playback. With a clock frequency twice that of traditional chips (2000 Mbps) and four times the memory (512 KB), this chip significantly enhances performance.
While compact in appearance, Tradutto is robust and weighty, weighing 550 grams. The chassis, except for the bottom panel, is made from matte black aluminum in an industrial style, with the word "Tradutto" engraved on the top. Its compact design ensures that Earmen Tradutto is suitable for any home setting. The integrated PCB is housed within a sturdy aluminum enclosure, providing enhanced protection and insulation from external influences.
