The speakers can be used in classic stereo mode or for creating a multi-channel home theater up to Dolby Atmos standards.
The system easily integrates into a multi-room setup, offering incredibly smooth and honest sound that approaches the quality of the best studio monitors. The room correction system helps achieve optimal results when placing the speakers in a room.
The Dutch & Dutch 8c is more than just studio monitors or a Hi-Fi system. Engineers from the Netherlands spent seven years perfecting the 8c. The unique concept of cardioid directivity from 100 Hz and above minimizes the negative impact of the room on sound, making the installation of a large speaker system a simple task.
Precision:
To create an exceptional sound system, it is essential to carefully select components, not just enclose speakers in a wooden body. The main goal for Dutch & Dutch 8c is incredibly accurate sound reproduction. The cardioid directivity allows you to perceive music as the author intended, regardless of the surrounding space.
This large bookshelf speaker system confidently plays even in small spaces, such as control rooms or halls. The sound is focused in front of the speakers, with bass radiators on the rear panel providing deep low-frequency sound starting from 30 Hz.
Adaptation to any room:
Adjust the system to the room instead of vice versa. For better spatial alignment, the Dutch & Dutch 8c feature room correction through free Room Eq Wizard software. The 8c has a versatile front panel design, allowing it to blend into any interior.
Advanced construction:
The Dutch & Dutch 8c come equipped with a 25mm dome tweeter in a patented waveguide, providing frequencies up to 1250 Hz without the risk of overheating or failure. A 200mm dynamic driver handles mid-bass range with an aluminum diaphragm and phase plug for better sound control.
Two low-frequency drivers on the back panel enhance the speaker's full-bodied sound. The oak enclosure is available in various finishes.
All-in-one:
The Dutch & Dutch 8c active acoustic system includes a high-quality DAC, amplifier, and DSP digital processing. Various connection options are available, including XLR balanced analog input, AES3 digital input, and Ethernet connection for monitoring and setup. Even at high sound pressure levels, the 8c provides precise sound with a high signal-to-noise ratio.
Streaming is also possible through streaming services. All components work perfectly together to deliver powerful sound at 106 dB continuously from 35 Hz and above, maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio. The amplifier delivers 500W to the low-frequency section and 250W to the mid and high-frequency drivers, operating in Class D under the Pascal Audio brand.
Unique design:
The front panel is made of ABS plastic with a matte finish that resists fingerprints. The body is crafted from oak. The design of the 8c is as clean as its sound. Large rectangular ports on the sides of the Dutch & Dutch 8c are an interesting characteristic of the speakers.
This design feature helps implement a cardioid directivity polar pattern at frequencies from 100 Hz, allowing the speakers to be placed close to a wall for more spacious, airy sound.
