Violator is the seventh studio album by the iconic British band. It was recorded at several studios from May to December 1989 and first released in the UK on the Mute Records label on March 19, 1990.
Playing a crucial role in the creation and promotion of the album were producer Flood, sound engineer François Kevorkian, and Anton Corbijn, who designed the cover, took promotional photos, and directed music videos for songs from the album and live performances.
