The Denon AVC-A1H is a new version of a premium-class AV amplifier for a home theater. It boasts 15 channels of amplification, four independent subwoofer outputs, full-featured HDMI 2.1 ports, a completely revamped user interface with 1080p resolution, and a host of new features offering the best of modern technologies.
When it comes to the HDMI 2.1 standard, seven inputs and three outputs operate at speeds of up to 40 Gbps and support all HDMI 2.1 features: VRR, ALLM, eARC, QMS, QFT, Ultra HD 4K at 120 frames per second, and UHD 8K at 60 frames per second.

Key changes in the Denon AVC-A1H include support for a Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 configuration, upgraded ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC, new DSP Analog Devices ADSP-21593 Shark+, and support for Sony's 360 Reality Audio and Mpeg-H standards.
The Denon AVC-A1H retains the design of its predecessor along with Imax Enhanced certification, Auro 3D functionality, upscaling sources to UHD 8K, HDCP 2.3 certification for all HDMI ports, and compatibility with HDR10+ and DTS: X Pro.
Other technical characteristics include web radio access, Bass Sync process for recalibration, and DTS Virtual X mode. The 15.4 model delivers 15 x 150 watts at 8 ohms with an R-Core transformer and features a transcoder for analog sources to HDMI.
The AVC-A1H comes with Audyssey MultEQ app for detailed sound adjustments and Dirac Live Room Correction for room acoustics analysis and improvement.
The front panel is made of aluminum, while the side panels are made of thick steel. The new 1080p resolution screen provides detailed information, and four quick select buttons on the front panel offer easy access to sources.
