DDHIFI TC100-COA - Coaxial Converter
The DDHIFI TC100-COA is a converter with a USB-C input and a coaxial cable output with an RCA connector. This converter allows you to connect a digital-to-analog converter with a coaxial input to a computer or mobile device.
Features:
- Supports 24-bit / 192 kHz;
- High-quality coaxial cable;
- Digital isolator DA101C;
- Removable 35 cm USB cable.
Breathe new life into old equipment
The first generations of DACs only have digital coaxial and optical input interfaces, but do not have a USB input. As a result, they could not directly interact with audio source devices that interact via USB, especially with Android devices with USB-C interface or iPhones with Lightning interface. The TC 100-CPA gives these old devices new life and allows them to interact with the latest digital devices via USB connection.
Supports 24-bit / 192 kHz format
TC100-COA is recommended for use with iPhones or Android smartphones in combination with music apps, such as Apple Music, which provide lossless music playback with a sampling frequency of up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.
High-quality coaxial cable
To ensure reliable and accurate transmission over the coaxial cable, the central conductor of TC100-COA has a construction produced to the highest standards with two length options of 35 cm / 65 cm. The cable is equipped with a 99.9999% high-purity OCC copper conductor with an impedance of 75 Ohm. The thicker wire diameter provides impedance matching, which is also crucial for transmission over coaxial cable.
Removable USB cable
The USB-C connector allows for the use of multiple interfaces when connecting the TC100-COA to digital devices, not limited to USB-C, USB-A, and Lightning. You can choose a suitable data transmission cable for directly connecting digital devices according to your cable length needs. You can also use the USB cable provided with the smartphone or alternatively use ddHiFi TCO9S and MFIO9S cables to improve sound quality.
Some high-speed USB-C data transfer cables may be incompatible with TC 100-CPA; please use a standard USB 2.0 data transfer cable. When working with an iPhone, you need to use a data transfer cable with OTG functions, such as MFiO6S and MFiO9S, or an OTG adapter such as ddHiFi TC28i and TC28i Pro. A standard data transfer cable without OTG function will not work.
Ground isolation
In inexpensive or low-quality devices, USB grounding is directly connected to one of the coaxial outputs or uses only one capacitor to create isolation, resulting in unreliable sound transmission. TC100-COA uses the Murata DA101C digital audio transformer, which provides a balance between USB input circuits and coaxial output circuits to ensure high-quality digital sound transmission.
