Breathe new life into old equipment

First-generation DACs have only digital coaxial and optical inputs, lacking a USB input. As a result, they couldn't directly interact with audio source devices that communicate via USB, especially devices with USB-C or Lightning interfaces. The TC100-CPA gives these old devices a new lease on life, allowing them to interact with the latest digital devices via USB connection.

Supports 24-bit/192kHz format

The TC100-COA is recommended for use with iPhone or Android smartphones in conjunction with music apps like Apple Music that provide lossless playback with a sampling frequency of up to 24-bit / 192kHz.

High-quality coaxial cable

To ensure reliable and accurate transmission over the coaxial cable, the central conductor of the TC100-COA has a construction made to the highest standards with two length options of 35cm / 65cm. The cable features a 99.9999% pure OCC copper conductor with an impedance of 75 ohms. A thicker wire diameter ensures impedance consistency, which is crucial for coaxial cable transmission.

Removable USB cable

The USB-C connector allows for the use of various interfaces when connecting the TC100-COA to digital devices, not limited to just USB-C, USB-A, and Lightning. You can choose a suitable data transmission cable for direct connection based on your needs for different cable lengths. Additionally, using the USB cable provided with your smartphone is recommended as an alternative, but for improved sound quality, ddHiFi TCO9S and MFIO9S cables are recommended.

Attention:

Some high-speed USB-C data transmission cables may be incompatible with the TC100-CPA; please use a standard USB 2.0 data transmission cable. When working with iPhone, it is necessary to use a data transmission cable with OTG functions, such as MFiO6S and MFiO9S, or an OTG adapter like ddHiFi TC28i and TC28i Pro. A standard data transmission cable without OTG functionality will not work.

Ground isolation

In inexpensive or low-quality devices, grounding the USB is directly connected to one of the coaxial outputs or only uses a single capacitor to create isolation, resulting in unreliable audio transmission. The TC100-COA uses the Murata DA101C digital audio transformer, which balances the USB input circuits with the coaxial output circuits to ensure high-quality digital audio transmission.
